It is not always possible to give clients an exact estimate of the fees and disbursements that will be involved in a matter. Our fees are calculated on a time basis and it also depends on the nature and complexity of the matter.
A deposit is usually required to cover initial fees and disbursements and the professional attending to the matter will advise the client of the amount required in this regard. We render regular interim accounts so as to keep the client informed in regard to the fees and disbursements which are being incurred in the handling of the matter.
In respect of conveyancing and notarial work, our fees are based on the Law Society of South Africa’s tariff guidelines.
